Tremendous support and encouragement received from society has helped Sankara Nethralaya to grow from a main hospital to four additional branches in Chennai, two major hospitals and a clinic at Kolkata, West Bengal, and a hospital at the Sri City Special Economic Zone, Nellore district. The institution is deeply touched by the confidence reposed on it and ever grateful to the generous support and goodwill of society for helping it to reach its present stature and looks forward to the same sustained support for the successful growth of all its establishments and to fulfill its dream of eradicating blindness from the face of the earth
